Perfect snowy weekend and barbecue

We've been in Gnosjö this weekend, going downhill on a Snowracer (which was a little scary for my daughter, who only rode down once). After this outdoor adventure, we went to Bredaryd's own thai and mongolian pride: Restaurant Bambu. They do the typical buffe of pan asian dishes, but most of the buffe is anything but standard. The flavors are really good. And especially nice is the mongolian barbecue-corner.
My daughter had duck, chicken skewers in satay sauce, lamb in pepper and honey sauce, rice, potatoes, fillet of beef in cream sauce (something for the swedish tastebuds), deep fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce, carrots, paprika, mandarins, slices of melon, fried banana with syrup, and ice cream with sprinkles, and a tea spoon of coffee.
Luckily there was some food left for the rest of us as well.
The good thing is that although it's an all-you-can-eat-buffe, in the mongolian barbecue-corner you can mix meats, condiments and sauces. The fry-up-chef has some integrity and validates or dismisses your choice of meat-sauce-pairing, in a very discrete way. Essentially, if he thinks that the sauce goes well together with the meat, he adds it to the fry-up-table, otherwise he quietly discards the main part of the sauce along with the plate you handed him. I like.
